Scott L. Theurer, DMD, maintains a general dentistry practice in Logan. He was appointed Trustee of the Utah System of Technical Colleges in 2016 and previously served on the Bridgerland Technical College Board of Directors 2001-2016.
Dr. Theurer is a past president of the Utah Dental Association and has been a UDA officer since 2009. He served on the American Dental Association’s Council on Dental Practice from 2014-2018 and was the Chair of the Utah Oral Health Coalition in 2010. He founded the Bear River Head Start oral screening and fluoride varnish program in 2002.
Dr. Theurer holds degrees from Utah State University and the School of Dental Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. Together with his wife, Teresa, he shares a commitment to public education – she previously served on the Utah State Board of Regents and the Utah State Board of Education. They are the parents of four children and grandparents to 16 beautiful grandchildren.
