Katie Mazzie is Associate Commissioner of Government and Trustee Relations at the Utah System of Higher Education, where she combines her passion for higher education with expertise in governance, public policy, and strategic initiatives.
A graduate of the University of Utah, she has supported higher education since 2008, when, as a first-generation college student herself, she began tutoring in East High School’s AVID program. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of Utah.
