Utah Board of Higher Education releases 2023-24 Annual Report

The Utah Board of Higher Education released its 2023-24 Annual Report detailing significant achievements and progress made in key areas over the last year. The report details the approval of a revised strategic plan and innovative initiatives, including research and analytics, direct admissions, academic and technical education, revisions in budget review processes, economic development, and more.

“The 2023-24 annual report highlights significant progress within the Utah System of Higher Education over the past year,” said Amanda Covington, Chair of the Utah Board of Higher Education. “Our efforts include a collaborative approach with stakeholders across the state, and we appreciate the interest and commitment of those who value higher education and opportunities for Utah students. The Board looks forward to further advancing higher education in the state for the benefit of all Utahns.”

The report reflects the Board’s commitment to fostering innovation and preparing students for success in college and life. It emphasizes unified efforts to ensure every student in Utah has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their academic and professional goals.

Future annual reports will center around the Board’s newly approved 2024-27 Strategic Plan and its progress in key initiatives in the areas of access, completion, financial value, and economic development, which is meant to streamline the work within the System.
