Utah Talent Hub, a new unified platform from the Utah System of Higher Education’s Talent Ready Utah, is connecting Utah students with high-impact internships, apprenticeships, co-ops and high-yield employment opportunities across the state. Built in coordination with Utah public colleges and the Nucleus Institute, the platform simplifies the transition from education to the workforce by creating a connection space for Utah students and employers.
Utah Talent Hub directly supports the Utah Board of Higher Education’s strategic plan by strengthening workforce development, helping ensure Utah’s students are prepared for in-demand careers across the state.
Utah Commissioner of Higher Education Geoffrey Landward emphasized the significance of this initiative at an event earlier this year:
“The launch of Utah Talent Hub represents a major step forward for Utah’s system of public colleges and universities. By connecting students to opportunities with top employers, we are creating clear pathways from education to meaningful careers. Talent Hub not only strengthens collaboration across higher education but also accelerates innovation statewide, ensuring Utah’s workforce and economy are prepared for the opportunities ahead.”
Building on Utah’s vision for the future of education and workforce innovation, Utah Talent Hub fosters meaningful partnerships between industry and higher education.
“Utah Talent Hub is transforming how we connect students with employers,” said Steve Neeleman, Utah Board of Higher Education member. “It equips students with the skills and experiences that employers are seeking and helps employers easily connect with our remarkable students, helping to build a stronger, future-ready workforce across the state.”
