Chair Covington called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.
Executive Committee Meeting
The Executive Committee convened to take action on behalf of the Board under Board Policy R120 subsection 3.9.5.2.
Tooele Technical College Interim President Appointment
Vice Chair Cox moved to appoint Kent Thygerson as Interim President of Tooele Technical College, effective November 16, 2025. Board member Chavez Jr. seconded the motion. The Executive Committee members in attendance voted unanimously in favor, and the motion passed.
Weber State University Interim President Appointment
Board member Chavez Jr. moved to appoint Leslie Durham as Interim President of Weber State University, effective November 10, 2025. Vice Chair Cox seconded the motion. The Executive Committee members in attendance voted unanimously in favor, and the motion passed.
Chair Covington moved to adjourn. Vice Chair Cox seconded the motion. The Executive Committee members in attendance voted unanimously in favor, and the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 2:10 p.m.
