Rachel George Terry is Chief of Staff to Commissioner Landward. Most recently, she was the Director for the Utah Division of Risk Management, which insures state agencies, institutions of higher education, and school districts. Prior to that she was the Deputy Director for the Utah League of Cities and Towns.
Rachel has 17 years of experience as a litigator, including complex civil rights cases for the Utah Attorney General’s Office. She worked for the law firm Fabian & Clendenin for eight years and the Utah Board of Education for two years. Rachel received her BA from Utah State University (Go Aggies!) and her JD from BYU. Rachel has teenage twins and loves hiking and traveling with them and rewatching The Good Place and Ted Lasso.
