USHE is partnering with the Provo City School District to become the first in the state to pilot a direct data integration with Admit Utah, USHE’s seamless college application platform. Through AdmitUtah.org, Provo high school seniors can apply to all 16 Utah public colleges and universities in one place, at no cost. Seniors at Provo High School and Timpview High School can apply now at AdmitUtah.org/Provo.
Kris Coles, USHE’s senior assistant commissioner of access and college in high school, describes Admit Utah as a one-stop shop for college admissions, saying, “It’s admission through the click of a button instead of filling out numerous fields of repetitive information.”

Provo High School held an assembly Nov. 3 to announce and launch the program.
This pilot expands how Admit Utah connects with institutions and students through a new data-sharing agreement between USHE and the Provo City School District. Students can opt into the program, choose which Utah public colleges to apply to, and USHE securely shares their information with those institutions. For many colleges, students receive immediate acceptance.
The goal is to help more Utahns take the next step toward higher education. By cutting down on paperwork and making the process more efficient, Admit Utah is making college an attainable option after high school.
The program will continue to expand next year with the continued use of direct data integration for Utah high school students.
