Chair Covington called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m.
Executive Committee Meeting
The Executive Committee convened to take action on behalf of the Board under Board Policy R120 subsection 3.9.5.2.
2025-2026 State Aid Award Level Recommendations
Taylor Adams provided the background and philosophy of the state aid programs that the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education manages. She reviewed the four programs for which the Executive Committee will be setting limits. The Executive Committee asked Taylor questions regarding the Veteran Program and tracking. Vice Chair Neeleman moved to approve the award levels for the Opportunity Scholarship, Prime Scholarship, Veterans Tuition Gap Program, and Adult Learner Grant. Chair Covington seconded the motion. The Executive Committee members voted unanimously in favor, and the motion passed.
Vice Chair Neeleman moved to adjourn. Board member Chavez Jr. seconded the motion. The Executive Committee members in attendance voted unanimously in favor, and the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 2:14 p.m.
