Carrie Mayne is the Chief Economist for the Utah System of Higher Education. She leads a team of data engineers, researchers, and data scientists who produce output to support decision-making by the Board, legislators, and other state leaders in higher education.
Carrie’s expertise includes labor economics, econometrics, and statistics. She is a member of the Utah Economic Council and the Postsecondary Employment Outcomes Coalition Board. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah and completed doctorate-level coursework in the same field.
