Rachel George Terry is Chief of Staff to Commissioner Landward. Before joining the Commissioner’s Office, she was the Director for the Utah Division of Risk Management, which insures state agencies, institutions of higher education, and school districts, and earlier served as Deputy Director for the Utah League of Cities and Towns.
Rachel has 17 years of experience as a litigator, including complex civil rights cases for the Utah Attorney General’s Office, eight years at the law firm Fabian & Clendenin, and two years at the Utah State Board of Education. Rachel received her bachelor’s degree from Utah State University (Go Aggies!) and her Juris Doctor from BYU. Rachel has teenage twins and loves hiking and traveling with them and rewatching The Good Place and Ted Lasso.
