In-person and virtual sessions scheduled for August 24 and 25
The Utah Board of Higher Education (Board) is seeking public input to help identify the next president of Bridgerland Technical College (BTECH). The BTECH search committee, which will lead the search for the next president, has also been named.
To ensure broad participation and to gather perspectives from across the college and surrounding region, multiple options are available for individuals to provide input. Faculty, staff, students, alumni, local industry partners, and community members are encouraged to participate.
There will be one in-person and one virtual public input session offered. Individuals may also provide feedback by:
- Submitting an anonymous comment online through this form.
- Emailing suggestions or nominations to BTECHpresidentialsearch@ushe.edu.
“Finding the right leader for Bridgerland Technical College depends heavily on hearing directly from the people and industries BTECH serves,” said Amanda Covington, chair of the Utah Board of Higher Education. “We urge students, faculty, staff, and regional employers to participate in this process so we can select a president who will advocate for student achievement, strengthen industry partnerships, and keep BTECH at the forefront of hands-on, career-aligned training.”
