Karen Mayne Public Safety Officer Scholarship Program
The Karen Mayne Public Safety Officer Scholarship Program is a state-funded scholarship program to provide funding to recent high school graduates who intend to work as public safety officers in Utah when eligible.
Eligible Students:
Aspiring public safety officers
Eligibility Requirements:
Graduate from high school
When eligible, enroll in a basic training course at a state-certified academy
Enroll in a qualifying degree program at an eligible institution
Commit to working as a certified peace officer in Utah for a minimum of five years after POST certification
Not a recipient of a PSOCAG award for the same degree
