Vic Chair Neeleman called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m.
Executive Committee Meeting
Talent Advisory Councils Utah Code 53B-34-110
Vic Hockett presented the proposal to create the Engineering and Computer Sciences Talent Initiative. Vice Chair Neeleman asked if the proposed initiative would take enrollees from other programs, to which Vic responded that they are going after new students. Vice Chair Neeleman also asked if the numbers would be tracked and reported back. Vic shared they will be part of an annual report that will be done for the Board. Board member Chavez Jr. moved to create the following Talent Initiative in response to Utah Code 53B-34-110.
Chair Covington seconded the motion. All Executive Committee members voted unanimously in favor, and the motion passed.
Vice Chair Neeleman moved to adjourn. Board member Chavez Jr. seconded the motion. All Executive Committee members voted unanimously in favor, and the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 10:13 a.m.
